Meet the Team

Ian Cotgrave AMIMechE – Managing Director

A qualified mechanical engineer, Ian has worked in design and construction for more than 25 years.  He is responsible for the day to day running of CREATEABILITY, overseeing all departments and is primarily concerned with pre-contract design and delivery as well as all financial aspects of the company.  As part of CREATEABILITY’S commitment to being part of your in-house team, Ian keeps a very hands-on approach and is involved in all projects.

Ian is a keen motorcyclist and is an Observer for the Institute of Advance Motorcyclists, he enjoys touring in the UK throughout Europe.


Our Contract Management Team

The contract management team are an integral part in the Createability delivery system, they are responsible for appointing and placing orders with contractors in, dealing with clients and contractors on site, controlling costs throughout the project, including applications for payment, and advising on variations.

Managing all Operations within the business is Roy our Deputy Managing Director (Operations) who has spent in total 27 years with Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) as Head of Technical Services responsible for the implementation of Leisure Management Systems and overseeing teams of Health & Safety, Procurement, Project Management Facility Management, Energy management.

Our team of Project Construction Managers work closely with both clients and contractors to ensure that project delivery runs smoothly and with as little disruption as possible.

UK Sales Team

Our Commercial Director Brian is a health, fitness and leisure industry veteran whose career spans more than 20 years in the sector, and is responsible for defining the company’s sales strategy, taking the business into new sectors, managing the sales team and ultimately growing the turnover.  He has worked as an operator (in both the private and public sector), and has worked in Senior roles in both the UK and most recently Internationally for two of the major fitness equipment providers.

Our Business Development Managers Jonathan and Adam, who both have a wealth of experience in the fitness industry, ranging from equipment supply to club operations and Ann our  Sales and Marketing Support Manager make up the rest of the team, they are continually  building and maintaining the special relationships we have with our clients.


CAD/ Design & all things creative

This eclectic and very talented bunch are a credit to our organisation. The design team are responsible for all the beautiful and creative designs we provide to our customers. They interpret sketches and notes and turn them into amazing designs that allow our customers to visualise their imagined concepts.

Angus is a time served Architectural Technician, whilst James with his interior designer flair produces 3D visualisations to show client how the finished project could look, whilst Ian’s attention to detail and meticulous drawing style ensure our designs are just what the client imagines.

They are well versed in building regulations and planning and have an eye for detail.


Estimating & Surveying

Our number crunching estimating/ Surveying team work closely together to ensure we meet our client’s expectations and deliver a timely and cost effective project.

The Estimators are responsible for the tender and/ or client costing prior to contract and any pre-contract adjustments to the cost plan our estimating team have over 50 years’ experience between them.

Our Quantity Surveyors ensure we offer the very best value when it comes to project design and delivery.


The Project Delivery Team

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in our project delivery team – some 150 years collectively.

With experience of all construction techniques, mechanical and electrical engineering, health and safety, procurement and site management to name but a few. Our project team are our “front line” and provide an arguably invaluable service to Createability and our customers.


Office Administration – The Hub

Our Admin and Finance team ensure all things “back office” run smoothly whilst supporting the core functions of the business.

Our Financial Controller assists Ian with the company’s financial activities on a day to day basis.

The Admin Team as well as assisting the Directors keep the day to day administration in the office on track.  They are a very organised bunch and ensure everything runs smoothly between staff, site, office, sales and clients.
