Design Focus June 2015

Welcome to this month’s design focus. We wanted to highlight Leisure Construction and Design at its most inspirational.

Our brief: “To create a relaxing and welcoming spa and relaxation area for members with treatments available in reception. To display supplier branding and to enhance member experience immersing them in their journey in a naturally serene environment”

To achieve this we took out the existing reception and a wall to open the space up – we designed shelving around the central pillar (which is structural), introduced a curving, flowing reception that allows the member to browse and be assisted by the receptionist at any point and have the beauty products displayed as per the brand environment. The new layout allows manicures, and smaller treatments to be delivered at beauty stations in the reception area and has created an open, bright welcoming space that is modern yet relaxing.

Commercial Building - Relaxing Spa AreaThe ladies lounge area was very open and almost too clinical for a spa! So our client wanted to zone off areas so that you could have a bit more privacy and make the feel more natural.

We have created a walk through experience that captures earth, wood and natural elements into the ambiance mix, and areas where you can relax either by yourself or with friends – ideal for wedding packages or allow members to feel more relaxed in a peaceful environment.

Leisure building construction & design at its best.
