We have completed work on the £1.3 million Bounce Trampoline Park, located in a disused commercial site in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Empty rooms in the unit have been remodelled to create a reception, induction zone and a Bounce Central Café. New walls, ceilings and ventilation have been installed, along with a bespoke serving counter, enabling bouncers and spectators to purchase refreshments from a viewing area.
Toilet facilities with new cubicles and hand wash/drying areas have been created and benefit from the installation of a hygienic safety flooring, along with new ceilings and lighting.
Also installed was a mezzanine floor to enable additional trampolines to be installed and VIP party rooms and party areas have been refurbished and are now complete with new ceilings, lights fresh paint and new furnishings.
Brian Thompson, Commercial Director at Createability states: “Trampoline parks are a growth area for the industry. We worked closely with the client to ensure the design of the Peterborough Bounce Park optimised the space available and provided the right combination of activities for all to use. It is essential when working on trampoline parks to fully understand the client’s vision, along with the local demographics, to ensure the design provides the ultimate customer journey and experience whilst in the facility. This will differentiate the site and maximise its success.”
The 31,000 sq ft trampoline park has more than 100 interconnected world-class trampolines accommodating up to 150 people per hour, along with specialist features such as a gladiator foam pit, dodgeball court, fitness challenge zone, gymnastic runways and a slam dunk area.
The centre also features Bounce Beatz, an evening of music and bouncing on the first Friday of each month, available to children aged 12 to 17, an adult-only bouncing session on the last Saturday of each month, dodgeball tournaments and Reboot fitness classes, a boot camp style exercise class incorporating drills only possible on trampolines. Reboot classes are available for a variety of fitness levels including family classes where parents and children can be active together.
Peterborough Bounce is the second site to be developed by long-time industry expert Gary Knill, Founder and Managing Partner of Rebound Leisure Group Ltd (RLG). Bounce Milton Keynes opened in 2014 and recently benefitted from the addition of a ladies functional training area.
The Peterborough park, which caters for birthday parties, school trips and corporate events, is open seven days a week, with varying opening times during the holidays and school term time.
