Contract value £1.6m

 

Running and maintenance costs had escalated disproportionately in comparison to the revenue the Centre could generate. The fabric of the building had deteriorated and considerable investment was required to re-energise the facility if it were to become financially viable again.


"The site has been transformed and the new development provides the area with a family destination to be proud of. We are on track to reduce the support grant over the next two years so the Centre becomes selffunding".

WENTWORTH LEISURE CENTRE

Contract value £500,000

 

The indoor bowling area occupied 25% of the building's footprint but delivered 2% of its income – during the winter months only. To make better use of the area and improve usage a10 pin bowling facility was developed.

WHITSTABLE COLLEGE

Contract value £162,500


As part of the college's upgrade of their Sports Centre it was agree to develop a gym. During the day this would be for school use with access extended to the local community in the evenings and at weekends.
